The main imaging features of the disease are (Fig.1):
- Visible asymmetry of the face
- Unilateral atrophy and fatty infiltration of mastication muscles
- Marked atrophy of mandibular condyle and mandibular ramus
- Deviation of the jaw.
- Pons
- The main motor branch
- Its distal distal branches.
