• Visible asymmetry of the face
• Unilateral atrophy and fatty infiltration of mastication muscles

• Marked atrophy of mandibular condyle and mandibular ramus
• Deviation of the jaw.

Possible levels of affection can be:

• Pons
• The main motor branch
• Its distal distal branches.
